Twilight star Pattinson kisses goodbye to music career
Robert Pattinson has revealed that he writes music in his spare time away from acting, but is worried that he will not be taken seriously as a musician.
The stud plays Edward Cullen in the Twilight films, with the latest instalment - New Moon - just released in the UK at the weekend.
But Pattinson is worried that his recent push into celebrity superstardom may affect the way people see his music.
He explained that any songs that he does release will not have his name or picture on, since he does not want them to be affected by Twilight publicity.
"I write songs, that's true. I'll record a few tracks as soon as I finish the promotion for the movies, but before I won't do anything," commented Pattinson.
Before the Twilight saga, the 23-year-old actor appeared in Harry Potter films the Goblet of Fire and the Order of the Phoenix as Cedric Diggory.
