The Demi Saga. Plus Red Bull.

What on earth is going on in Demi Moore land? Aside from breakdowns, shakedown, Red Bull and irresponsible Ashton Kutcher.

As everyone who tends to keep up with gossip and scandal knows, Demi Moore was rushed to hospital on Monday night when, according to a friend who witnessed the event, she started to violently shake. According to reports, the actress had been pretty hyperactive the whole evening and there was much, much worry about what could possibly be wrong. The word from Demi’s people is that the actress has decided to seek treatment from exhaustion and to improve her overall health. There have been whispers and rumours that the actress had had to deal with bouts of ‘anorexia’ accusations, but nothing has been said about that on the part of Demi’s people. However, Demi’s lifestyle pattern before her moment with emergency services seems to show that the star was not coping well regarding her recent divorce from much younger husband, Ashton Kutcher. Friends of Moore claim that the actress was repeatedly distressed by Kutcher’s open flirting with other women, and the fact that when he’s feeling down in the dumps. It’s to her that he runs. But it’s not just the distress that’s making her sick. Says a friend: “Demi avoids alcohol and instead drinks tons of Red Bull when she goes out. But in recent months, she’s not been eating much so she’s also been drinking it in the day to give her energy to get through.” Seems like a dangerous route to be taking, in my opinion. The movie legend (dispute that at your leisure) can often be seen out and about clutching a glass of Red Bull. Her friend also says that Demi appears to be drunk, though everyone can confidently say that not a drop of alcohol would pass the actress’ lips. To top it all off, there’s been some great furore around the fact that Ashton, who has been working and playing in Brazil, arrived back home in LA right around the time that Demi was released from hospital. It wasn’t too long before people began to speculate about whether he’d returned so that he could see his ex-wife. But, when Kutcher arrived back home, he didn’t seem particularly sad, upset or even overly concerned. Instead, he was escorted out of LAX into a Mercedes, driven by a friend who had come to pick him up. He also didn’t seem too keen on answering any questions about Demi’s hospitalisation, so we can only assume he’s home because it’s, well, home. In other news, Demi appears to be fine and will survive her recent clash with consciousness. And all that we can do now is wait and see what happens next…
