Susan Boyle sings with Elaine Page

Susan Boyle stole the world's heart when she sang I Dreamed a Dream on Britain's Got Talent, but now her own dream has come true.

When she appeared on the ITV talent show, in a gold dress and black shoes, she said she wanted to be a singer like Elaine Page. Nobody believed her she could, until she began to sing. Now, less than a year later, this dream has finally become a reality for the Scottish sensation.

In a special programme to be screened this weekend, SuBo performed the song I Know Him So Well with the West End megastar.

Looking lovely in a purple dress and with newly-dyed hair, the singer looked as much of a star as her idol did.

The show, I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story, will tell the tale of her incredible year, which took her from spinster to global superstar, as well as featuring performances from hit musicals.

Her album, released last month, shot to the top of the charts in both the UK and America.
