Sugababes and Saturdays turn out for JLS star's birthday

Fans of UK pop music would have a had a great opportunity to spot stars at JLS singer Aston Merrygold's birthday party over the weekend.

Not only were the JLS boys on hand to help Aston get his 22nd birthday celebrations underway, they also got some help from some of music's most popular female singers in the shape of The Saturdays and the Sugababes.

With lashing of fake tan and false eyelashes on display, the girls gave us all a masterclass in how to look fabulous on a night out.

But there were a couple of faces absent from the line-up, with Saturdays' Una Healey and Sugababes singer Heidi Range both missing out on the party.

Aston is not the only star to have recently celebrated their birthday, with Rihanna also taking time out of her schedule to enjoy some fun.

While on a promotional tour in South Korea, the Russian Roulette singer was given a ceremonial sword to cut her birthday cake.
