Simon Cowell's Ex Attacked

Simon Cowell’s ex, Terri Seymour was in trouble yesterday in Los Angeles when a fan allegedly tried to choke her straight after an American Idol finale taping. According to reports the TV Presenter and model was attacked after 33 year old Janice Thibodeaux enquired as to whether Seymour and Cowell were an item, just outside the Nokia Theatre.
The fan, described as twice Seymour’s size and about 200 pounds, asked her if she was ‘…off TV’ and then was reported to grab hold of Seymour’s head and began to choke her. The police reacted quickly and dragged the attacker away, going on to arrest her on suspicion of battery. Seymour appeared shaken and disturbed by the events but refused medical treatment. The attacker was later released on bail. Thibodeax’s siblings reportedly said that their sister was not crazy, and her actions were out of character.
Simon Cowell got it together with Terri Seymour in late 2002. 2006 saw the News of the World report that Cowell had cheated on Seymour with model Jasmine Lennard. The couple split up in October 2008.
Cowell is well known for his negative critique on shows such as The X Factor with Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole and Britain’s Got Talent with Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden. Cowell also worked on American Inventor and Grease is the Word and is often blunt and makes wisecracks about the contestant’s abilities. Terri Seymour found success as a commercial model and appeared in catalogues and commercials. She is now an American Idol correspondant for FOX.
