Shoes 'more memorable than first kisses'

We all know that shoes are something special, but for many women, it seems that they are even more important that they person they shared their first kiss with.

Research carried out by storage firm tszuji found that 92 per cent of the women questioned can remember the first pair of fabulous footwear they splashed out on with their own cash.

But, only 63 per cent said that they can recall the name of the first person they kissed, showing shoes are by far the closest thing to a girl's heart from a young age.

And, while 96 per cent of the ladies asked said they regret having to throw out a pair of old shoes, just 15 per cent say they feel bad for ditching a boyfriend.

If you are considering asking Father Christmas for some new footwear this year, a pair of heels is the style to choose.

Style expert Lisa Smosarski recently said that heels are huge this winter, with pencil thin designs through to chunky embellished shoes being seen all over the catwalk, as well as the high street.
