Scarecrow gets a Lady Gaga makeover

Lady Gaga's outrageous Brit Awards outfit has found an unexpected fashion follower in the shape of a scarecrow.

Nigel Britten, a farmer from Surrey, was trying to figure out a way to stop pigeons from eating his wheat on the farm when saw the Poker Face singer's red carpet outfit.

He created a seven-foot replica of the singer, complete with a huge white wig and a flowing tiered dress, to stand guard over his crops, which are used to make Hovis bread.

Clearly the pesky pigeons are not fans of high fashion, as since putting the scarecrow Gaga up in the field, Mr Britten said it has had a "remarkable effect" and the birds have been staying away.

Fans of the real-life New York native can catch her on tour around the UK, performing her chart-topping tracks Just Dance and Bad Romance, as well as playing a piano mounted inside a truck.
