Sarah Michelle Gellar shows off her daughter

Sarah Michelle Gellar has shown off her new baby daughter to the world while taking a walk around Santa Monica.

The actress, who shot to fame when she starred in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, looked like she was enjoying motherhood as she carried around Charlotte Grace.

Wrapped up warm in a pink blanket and a matching hat with teddy bear ears, the three-month-old is the first child for the actress and her husband Freddie Prinze Jnr, who met in 1997 when filming the teen film I Know What You Did Last Summer.

The pair went on to act together twice more in the live-action Scooby Doo film, released in 2002, and its sequel.

It seems many celebrity families are taking advantage of the winter break to spend some quality time together. Last month, Victoria and David Beckham were snapped taking their three young sons on an evening out at the theatre.
