Sarah Jessica Parker & Matthew Broderick Welcome Twins

The stork has flown into celebrity world and given us twin girls! Sarah Jessica Parker aka Carrie in Sex and the City and her husband Matthew Broderick are the proud parents after their surrogate gave birth earlier today at the East Ohio Regional Hospital in Ohio. Matthew, 47, and Sarah, 44, are already parents to seven year old James Wilkie
The couple were introduced by one of Sarah’s brothers at the Naked Angels theatre company where they both performed. They have been married since May 19th 1997.
The couple’s spokesperson says that the couple are ‘over the moon’ and that the babies have already been named. Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick weighed in at 5lbs 11oz. and Tabitha Hodge weighed in at 6lbs. It is reported that both Elwell and Hodge are family names on Sarah Jessica Parker’s side. It is reported that the couple were with the mother when she gave birth to their babies.
Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker admitted that they chose a surrogate because they were unable to have successful pregnancies after the birth of the first son James. Other celebrities have also used surrogates, Marissa Winokur, Angela Basset, Robert De Niro and Dennis Quaid.
