Sarah Harding plans to make solo album

Girls Aloud fans will soon be able to pick up solo hits from Sarah Harding as she has announced that she is to head into the recording studio.

Following in the footsteps of her other bandmates, Sarah may be hoping to emulate the success of Cheryl Cole, who had a huge number one hit with her debut single Fight For This Love.

She told the Mirror that she would love to do something in the style of Lady Gaga, who she recently went to see on tour.

Sarah's fellow singer Nadine Coyle is also busy recording songs for her first album, although Kimberley Walsh seems happy forging a career as a TV presenter and Nicola Roberts is occupied with her Dainty Doll makeup range.

The St Trinian's actress has also had a fashion makeover, as she has been spotted on a night out sporting a new bobbed blonde hair do and wearing a sophisticated trouser suit.
