Rihanna performs in outrageous catsuit

Rihanna appeared at the American Music Awards last night wearing a futuristic white catsuit.

The singer performed Wait Your Turn at the ceremony and gave a raunchy performance with the help of her outfit.

Her full-body white catsuit had strips of flesh showing from her ankles all the way up to her chest and the white shoulder pads at the top of the ensemble had small spikes sticking out of them.

There was another surprise in store for the fans when the spikes on her shoulders began shooting out colourful lasers to take the futuristic tone of her show to the next level.

It was the first time that the 21-year-old singer had performed live in the US since she was assaulted by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and she looked commanding in her raunchy outfit.

Rihanna has just released her latest album, which she promoted at the American Music Awards by having a fake tattoo running down the middle of her chest of its title - Rated R.
