Prince Harry 'fancies Cheryl Cole'

Prince Harry has admitted that he has a soft spot for X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.

Talking to the winner of this year's show Joe McElderry after a charity do, the Prince said that he envied the amount of time Joe got to spend with Cheryl, according to the Daily Mail.

A source also told the newspaper that the Girls Aloud singer "definitely has the royal seal of approval".

But things were kept strictly to business between the Geordie teenager and Prince William, who praised Joe and hoped his single would sell well.

A known fan of X Factor, Prince Harry was spotted in the audience of Sunday's final, with his long-term girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

Joe claimed the X Factor crown this year after winning over 60 per cent of the votes cast by ten million viewers during the final. His single The Climb is set to battle for a place as this years Christmas number one.
