Posh Bingo winner lands £49,565

Posh Bingo player Socket1 has secured £49,565 after winning a progressive jackpot on one of the site's slot machines.

The 50-year-old from Bristol was playing Fluffy Favourites when she landed the Mega Jackpot.

While she originally thought she had won £495, upon closer inspection the gaming fan realised she had scooped the main prize.

Commenting on her win, Socket1 said she and her husband are not the type of people to get lucky often.

She remarked: "We have struggled a lot in our 30 years of marriage with my husband's ill-health and had to have a lot of time off of work in hospital."

The couple are reportedly spending the cash on their daughters' weddings, while spoiling their twin granddaughters with presents.

Posh Bingo is currently celebrating its first birthday and is inviting enthusiasts to log on at 21:45 BST on Sunday May 2nd to celebrate, with winners getting an all-expenses paid party thrown for them.
