Plump lips are 'the key to looking young'

Having plump lips is a vital way of keeping off the years and making your appearance look youthful, according to recent research.

Stars like Scarlett Johansson and Angelina Jolie will remain looking youthful for many years to come, thanks to their full lips.

Even women who have started to show signs of aging, such as wrinkles, will look young for longer than their friends with thin lips, a study by Unilever has found.

But before you head out for collagen injections, the Times reported that the scientists said that it is mainly down to good genetics that some women have a better pout than others.

For some women, cosmetic treatments to get bigger lips can go horribly wrong and result in a trout-pout, which famously happened to the actress Leslie Ash.

Makeup this year is set to be a striking affair, with expert Zara Rabinowic stating that dramatic eyes and smouldering lips are to be a huge look to complement the current 1980s fashion trend.
