Pamela Anderson set to spin onto Dancing With The Stars

Dance fans will soon have another programme to look forward to as the new series of Dancing With The Stars is set to hit our screens, with Pamela Anderson confirmed as taking part.

The former Baywatch star will be participating in the American version of Strictly Come Dancing.

And although Tess Daly and Bruce Forsyth are nowhere to be seen, a couple of familiar faces will be appearing as Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli also judge the show on the other side of the pond.

Pammy will not be the only familiar name making an appearance, as the legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin will be joining the team, with the 80-year-old being the show's oldest contestant ever.

Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger will be taking part too and is set to be the partner of Derek Hough, who recently appeared with Cheryl Cole in the video to her new single Parachute.

The programme may come as a welcome distraction to Nicole as the band may currently be on a break, following the news that member Kimberley Wyatt and Ashley Roberts have left the group.
