Noel Gallagher Quits Oasis

Oasis Noel Gallagher QuitsHey guys, here’s some really bad news! Guess what, Noel Gallagher, the main songwriter and the lead guitarist for the famed band “Oasis” has made the announcement that he has quit the band. Yes, shocking, isn’t it? Is it just us or do all of you out there have the same feeling that you had when you head the awful news that MJ passed away. This is certainly awful news for the music industry as they were without doubt one of the most successful bands in the modern era. Now that Gallagher has left the band it seems like the future of Oasis and that of English pop music is in a serious dilemma. The precise reason that Noel mentioned for his drastic decision was that he could no longer stand working with his brother Liam. Making this latest celebrity news all the more solid and authentic, Noel mentioned it on the band’s website, "It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer. Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan." We are sure all of you guys who were excited about the band’s 12 month tour that was due to play in Paris’ Rock en Seine festival starting on Friday, must be devastated on hearing this news. In fact the show has been cancelled. Liam and Noel always seemed to share somewhat of a stressed relationship but then things really worsened in the last few days. Indeed, Liam had mentioned it in a latest interview with the NME that he spoke to Noel on very rare occasions and had stopped traveling together. They only saw each other on stage. Liam said, "He doesn't like me and I don't like him, that's it.” On the other hand, Alan Mcgee who founded the band in 1993 told BBC that the recent fall out was "more serious than anything that's ever happened", but then he was optimistic that things would surely get better in the near future. "It's obviously the worst fall-out that they've ever had, and they've had some pretty bad ones. This is a pretty serious one. But they love each other, they'll come back together. I think you'll have a reunion tour in about five-year time. They love each other. When people love each other, they'll always make peace." Whatever it is I just can’t think of seeing Oasis perform without Noel playing on stage. It’s just unbelievable. I am sure all of us are feeling the same way. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed and pray that both Noel and Liam get over their differences as soon as possible and we get to enjoy the charismatic music of this electrifying band once again.
