'No wedding just yet' for Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch

Wag weddings can usually be relied upon to provide plenty of photos, gossip and over-the-top extravagance.

However, it seems as though anyone anxious for their next dose of football marriage gossip will have to wait a little longer to see what Abbey Clancy will wear on her big day.

The girlfriend of England and Tottenham Hotspur star Peter Crouch has revealed that the couple are in no rush to get married and will probably have "a long engagement".

According to People.co.uk, there were rumours that the pair could tie the knot next year, but Peter's commitments to the World Cup in South Africa mean that this is unlikely.

Blonde model Abbey revealed to the publication: "We have both decided to have a long engagement - we're going to wait a while now. We're just waiting for the right time."
