Myleene Klass Hosting I'm A Celebrity
Last month in Cannes our very own Myleene Klass reportedly signed a last-minute deal worth £100,000 to host the U.S. version of ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ The show is to take place in the Costa Rican Jungle alongside MTV Request Live presenter, Damien Fahey.
Last night in the U.S. Myleene graced the television screen with her French Connection one-shouldered mini dress costing £110 helping to fly the British fashion flag. With her in the Costa Rican jungle are Lou Diamond Philips, Stephen Baldwin and former supermodel loud mouth Janice Dickenson.
The path was not smooth for the contestants as in the first episode, Heidi and her new husband threatened to quit the show after seeing their living conditions. Reportedly Heidi’s husband Spencer complained to the NBC chairman saying that they were too rich and famous to be sitting with the other people in the jungle. The Hills duo quit the show after one single live episode.
It would appear that our British host has been given a bad rating, with Entertainment Weekly reporting that the hosts repeated what the celebrities had said and then told the audience what to think about them.
Myleene was all smiles last month and on her website she reportedly said that she was beside herself with excitement and that she couldn’t wait to host the programme.
The U.S. ‘I’m a Celebrity…’ attempted the show six years ago on ABC, but failed to attract a vast amount of viewers. Chris Judd, Jennifer Lopez’s ex husband had won the show previously.
