The trick, of course, is to balance it effectively so you don’t end up looking like a transvestite. And the way to keep it all stable is to focus on making masculine the impression but not the overall feel. Try slicked back hair, low ponytails – the aim of the game is to understate your hair, somewhat. Before there was indie, men did that. Then there’s the idea of thick-ish eyebrows – not too thick, mind, but thick enough to give them presence. And finally, red lipstick. Not bright red. Dark red. Bold and seductive. There you go – masculine but, ultimately, sexy as all hell.
