Marriage 'not on the cards for Reese Witherspoon'

Celebrity couple Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are not due to head down the aisle any time soon, it has been reported.

Heat notes that there have been plenty of rumours about the pair getting married, with the Donnie Darko and Brokeback Mountain star having allegedly popped the question to Reese recently.

However, one of the publication's sources has informed it that this is not the case - yet.

"A snitch over in the US" told the magazine: "They're really not near the whole marriage thing. Jake would marry her tomorrow, but Reese doesn't want to go there yet."

Heat reminded readers that Reese - who has starred in films such as Legally Blonde, Walk The Line and Sweet Home Alabama - has been married before and so noted that it is understandable that she might be a little more cautious about doing it again before the timing is perfect.
