Madonna offers marriage guidance on TV show

Couples who have been having problems with their marriage have been offered some handy tips from Madonna.

Appearing on new American TV show The Marriage Ref, the twice-divorced Queen of Pop was on a panel deciding the best way for real-life couples to solve their marital disputes.

In her episode of the new programme, the Material Girl singer was joined by Curb Your Enthusiasm actor Larry David and British comedian Ricky Gervais, who later said it was the weirdest show he had ever been on.

Never known to be shy about voicing her opinion, Madonna clashed with Larry over what one couple should do to save their relationship.

Other stars who have already been on the show included Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria-Parker and Alec Baldwin, the brother of Celebrity Big Brother contestant Stephen Baldwin.

One couple who are not in need of any relationship help are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, as the Twilight stars appeared together on the red carpet to promote R-Patz's new film Remember Me.
