Lindsay Lohan 'falls into a cactus'

Lindsay Lohan was left looking red-faced after she stumbled over in her high heels and landed in a cactus.

While this would be embarrassing for most people, the Mean Girls star had the added problem of the whole thing being captured by a hoard of paparazzi photographers.

Stumbling off the path towards her friend's house after enjoying a night on the tiles, the former child star fell straight into the prickly plant and had to enlist the help of a male friend to get her back on her feet again.

It left the star looking slightly less of a fashionista than she may have intended, in an all-black outfit and a glittery cropped jacket.

Perhaps in the future she could take a leaf out of Pixie Lott's book, as the teenage singer was recently spotted heading out for the evening wearing a pair of flat shoes, which were decorated with sparkling silver butterflies.
