Lily Allen vs Susan Boyle

It seems like Lily Allen has a new target to criticise, as she branded the Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle ‘overrated’ on her Twitter profile. ITV News picked this item up, and prompted Lily Allen to explain her views. She replied that she was not alone in her views about Boyle, and that 90% of people would agree. Allen also suggested that being ‘overrated’ is not a bad thing. There is one Britain’s Got Talent star that Lily does rate, and that is Shaheen Jafargholi. On Allen’s Twitter page she said that she was in tears as Shaheen’s performance was so amazing.
In other Britain’s Got Talent news it would appear that Susan Boyle has a massive crush on the television judge, Piers Morgan. It has been reported that guests who are staying at the same hotel as Boyle have heard that the singing star swore when Piers congratulated Shaheen Jafargholi for her performance, saying it was the best singing performance of the semi-finals so far. This would mean that her performance was better than Boyle’s own, and the Scottish star apparently made a two-fingered gesture at the television.
The 2009 judges are Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden. Interestingly Kelly Brook was supposed to be the new 4th judge, but was fired after acting as a judge for six days. The show is presented by Ant and Dec. Most notabley, the 47 year old Scottish woman, Susan Boyle performed ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ and it proved to be large a success internationally.
