Lily Allen to appear in fashion reality show

Singer Lily Allen is set to star in a new reality television show tracking her progress as she tries to break into the fashion industry.

Due to be broadcasted by Channel 4 in 2011, the programme is currently filming and will follow her progress at her fashion store Lucy In Disguise.

Allen, who recently quit the music scene to pursue other interests, is looking to design and promote a line of clothing in conjunction with her half-sister Sarah Owen.

It follows recent news that Dannii Minogue will be launching her own brand, entitled Project D, which is also scheduled to appear as part of a fly-on-the-wall documentary.

Commenting on Allen's listing, a spokesperson from Channel 4 said: "It is happening. The name and how many shows there will be is still undecided. It is due to go out early next year."

The 24-year-old's debut album - Alright, Still - was released in 2006 and went triple platinum in the UK.
