Leona Lewis does circus chic fancy dress

It's not often that a celebrity would like being told that they look like a clown, but that was exactly the look that Leona Lewis was going for at a recent charity event.

Arriving at the fancy dress party to celebrate the birthday of celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, Leona went for a sexy feel to her clown costume, by wearing a cropped sequined top and harem pants.

To get the clown look to her outfit, she teamed it with a huge ruffled collar and wore a lace mask over one eye that would not look out of place on Lady Gaga.

Another Brit attending the party in Los Angeles was Mel B, who dressed as a ring master with a top hat and a pair of thigh high boots.

Lindsay Lohan also turned up wearing a turquoise dress and looked as if she had recovered from a recent mishap where the actress was snapped falling over into a cactus after a night out with friends.
