Lady Gaga goes batty for X Factor

Never known to be a shy and retiring type, Lady Gaga's performance on Sunday's X Factor was always bound to be full of surprises.

But few would have guessed the singer would have chosen to perform her hit track Bad Romance in an oversized bathroom, complete with bath, toilet and folded white towels.

Most weeks, it's the battle of the dresses between judges Cheryl and Dannii that hits the headlines. But, this week, it was the Poker Face singer who had everybody talking. Dressed in metallic outfit with matching horns, the star looked like she was in a bat fancy dress costume.

The New York native finished the performance with an energetic dance routine, accompanied by a troupe of dancers, in an enormous bath tub - which she stayed in it for her interview with host Dermot O'Leary.

But, at least last night's performance went smoothly. Last week she slipped up twice while performing on the first night of her Monster tour.
