Lady Gaga gets a comic book makeover

Lady Gaga is no stranger to appearing on the front cover of magazines, but the star has received a totally new look by featuring in the new comic book Fame.

Posing against a purple background, the Poker Face singer has been given a complete cartoon makeover in the publication from Bluewater Comics.

Set to be the first in a series of releases looking at today's top celebs, the magazine, which has the same name as Lady Gaga's chart-topping album, is to feature Twilight star Robert Pattinson and David Beckham.

This year looks set to be huge for the New York native as she clinched the first number one single of the decade with her hit Bad Romance and is set to head out on tour around the UK this year.

But 2009 was also eventful for the eccentric star, as she met the Queen during the Royal Variety Performance in Blackpool while wearing a red latex dress with a ruffled collar.
