Kylie Minogue 'UK's most powerful celeb'

Kylie Minogue has been named as the most powerful celebrity in the UK, beating Cheryl Cole into second place.

A survey of shoppers carried out by Millward Brown found that Kylie was the one star that topped the list of being the most well known, well liked and gossiped about in the UK.

The only other non-British celeb to appear on the list was George Clooney, who came in eighth place.

Other stars that were ranked as being popular and talked about were David Beckham, Ant and Dec, and Jamie Oliver.

However, an alternative list of the least popular found that Katie Price, Tiger Woods and Jonathan Ross were all stars that people do not like.

Currently working on the next album, Kylie recently said that she hopes it sells well as she is planning on spending a lot of money on gifts for when her sister Dannii's baby arrives later in the year.
