Katherine Jenkins looks ravishing in red

Singer Katherine Jenkins showed off her bold style last night when she left the Gore Hotel in London wearing a plunging red satin gown that was encrusted with glittering gems.

The singer, who performed Parla Piu Piano at the concert earlier in the evening, looked "slender" and "elegant", according to the Daily Mail.

However, the paper noted that a cut-out panel on the front of her dress "rather gave her the look of a belly dancer".

She told the publication that she was glad that there was a classical contribution at the charity event, which was organised by Take That's Gary Barlow.

"I was honoured to be part of this event and glad that Gary thought to include a classical act. It shows classical music is becoming more popular, " she explained.

The concert may have been an emotional one for Gary Barlow and the rest of Take That, as they appeared on stage with former bandmate Robbie Williams for the first time in around 15 years.
