Joe Cole & Carly Zucker Get Married

The latest celebrity couple to get married are Chelsea footballer Joe Cole and his girlfriend Carly Zucker. Cole, 27 and Zucker, 25 who were married in a £3million wedding ceremony at the Royal Hospital Chelsea’s chapel on Saturday the 20th June. Cole proposed to Zucker in 2008 with a £50,000 engagement ring.
The hour long service was kept traditional with traditional English vows. The bride arrived 20 minutes late for the ceremony. Zucker walked down the aisle in a figure hugging floor-length dress designed by Oscar de la Renta. The wedding dress cost £10,000 and Cole wore a £4,000 mohair suit by a Savile Row tailor, Stowers Bespoke.
Cole explained that he wanted to marry in Chelsea because he plays football for Chelsea and they live there. In an interview with a UK newspaper he told of how marriage was important to him, and that he was interested in becoming a good husband, son, friend and father. Cole married in his grandmother’s wedding ring as a tribute to Pat who died of cancer four years previously. Cole described his relationship with his grandmother as close and that she was a wonderful motivation for him to get into the England squad.
The beautiful service was followed by a Champagne reception, then a three-course wedding breakfast and entertainment for the evening. Of the 150 guests the celebrity guests included Jo Swash and his girlfriend, EastEnders star, Kara Tointon and other WAGs such as John Terry and Toni and Michael and Lisa Carrick.
