Jay-Z 'set to spin some tunes at weddings'

He may be one of the most famous hip hop stars in the business, but it seems as though Jay-Z could be about to leave all that behind him for a decidedly more low-key career.

The rapper has announced that he wants to take up DJing and plans to spin some tunes and show off his skills at wedding receptions.

He claims that he will be buying all the equipment he needs before spending six months practicing the tricks of the trade and scratching his records to perfection.

Anyone thinking of booking the star for their reception may have to start saving now, as he claims that a demonstration of his skills on the decks will not come cheap.

Jay-Z says that he will find out which DJ makes the most "and charge double and tour".

"I'm gonna have video behind me and dancers. I'm gonna have people just go out and pour champagne when I get to a certain song," he adds.

Jay-Z is married to singer Beyonce Knowles, who has had a string of hits such as Single Ladies and Crazy In Love.
