Is Simon Cowell really engaged?

Rumours are rife that Simon Cowell has finally met the woman of his dreams and has popped the question to his girlfriend.

The X Factor judge has kept quiet about his relationship with makeup artist Mezghan Hussainy, who works on American Idol, but she has been spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding ring finger.

According to the Daily Mail, Simon got down on one knee a few weeks ago, with a friend telling the news provider: "Simon loves Mezghan, it's as simple as that."

It is also thought that her ring is from the exclusive jewellery shop Graff and it is believed to be worth £250,000.

The news has certainly come as a surprise to some people, who did not realise Simon was in a serious relationship. Simon even turned up the National Television Awards, where X Factor scooped the most popular talent show award, with two of his ex-girlfriends.
