Ill Gary Lucy misses Dancing on Ice rehearsals

Gary Lucy may well be feeling worried about his Dancing on Ice performance this Sunday, after he missed training sessions this week.

The former Hollyoaks actor was struck down by a tummy bug earlier this week, forcing him to miss vital practice sessions for the weekend's ice dancing programme, which is set to include a group performance.

But he was not the only one to have been taken ill, as his dance partner Maria Filippov and several members of the TV crew have also been forced to their sick beds.

Sunday's show will have a special Valentine's Day theme, which is being choreographed by Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

One star who does not have to worry about catching a nasty bug is Heather Mills, who was voted off the show last week.

However, she has said that she plans to carry on working with her dance partner, but by giving motivational training in the workplace instead of hitting the ice, according to PA.
