Katie Price has agreed to face all manner of bugs and creepy crawlies by returning to the jungle in I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

The former glamour model, 31, first appeared on the show back in 2004 when sparks flew and love blossomed as she fell for her now ex-husband Peter Andre.

It is understood that Katie, also known as Jordan, will be paid £450,000 for her appearance and she is the first celebrity who has ever returned to the jungle after escaping first time round.

According to reports, she is keen to show the public what she is really like and win back some support after her popularity fell when she divorced Peter.

Speaking to the Mirror, a source said: "She loved it first time and figured it would give the public another chance to see the 'real her' - and an opportunity to claw back some good PR."

Katie was also in the news last week when her disabled son Harvey was rushed to hospital with suspected swine flu.
