How to look fab on Christmas party pics
After hunting round the shops find the perfect frock, then heading home to spend hours getting hair and makeup immaculate, nothing is worse than looking terrible in party photos.
But, with these top tips from a celebrity photographer, looking as incredible as you feel in photos is a breeze.
Jon Furniss has photographed of some of Hollywood's biggest names, so he knows a something about how to strike a pose.
Speaking to the Mirror, he said that many stars have a signature pose, such as standing with hands on hips, which makes arms look slim and improves posture.
To take inches off without going on a diet, stand with one leg in front of the other in full length pics.
Or, if you're trying to hide a huge pregnancy bump, try the stars' red carpet favourite of holding a clutch bag in front of your stomach. Getting the perfect complexion is also easy, with make-up artist Linda Brown suggesting only a couple of layers of concealer are needed to hide dark circles under the eyes.
