Gino D'Acampo crowned king of the jungle

Celebrity chef Gino D'Acampo is this year's king of the jungle, but admitted to hosts Ant and Dec that he was hungry during the show.

Gino saw off competition from outspoken How Clean is Your House? presenter Kim Woodburn to take the top spot in the I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! public vote.

He said that winning the show was the "cherry on the cake" of the three week stay in Australian jungle.

But he admitted that the rations the celebs were given were not enough to keep away his hunger, especially as he had thought they would be secretly given sandwiches during the show.

The father of two's revelation does not come as too much of a surprise, after it was recently revealed that the 12 stars had lost a total of six stone 12 lbs between them.

Jimmy White, who came in third place, shed a massive one stone eight lbs on their diet of rice and beans. Not a diet to try at home.
