Get That Summer Body
With the summer fast approaching you may be thinking about how to tone, slim down and look fabulous in your bikini.
Exercise.
It’s important to be consistent with your exercise and set yourself realistic goals otherwise you could find yourself burnt out at the end of the week. For the first few weeks, why not start with exercising at least three times a week. If running doesn’t appeal to you, swimming can help to tone up your whole body including your arms. Everything counts, so use any opportunity in your daily lifestyle to exercise, from walking to the shop, stairs instead of escalators and even housework!
Beauty.
Don’t think you need to fake it this summer with a fake tan. It’s important to keep natural with your make up and skin in the summer, it will help you to feel young and fresh. Remember having good skin is much more appealing than having orange skin. Don’t forget that exfoliating and moisturising is a must for your skin in the hot weather if you do like to fake it. Always remember to drink plenty of water to help keep your skin clear. To protect your skin from sun damage, make sure you apply a face moisturiser with a high SPF. If you can’t bear to go out without any makeup, try a lightweight tinted moisturiser with a lightweight SPF in.
Diet.
Don’t be tempted to go crazy and just eat four baked beans a day, or cut out fat completely! You need good fats to ensure you have healthy skin, so eat plenty of fish, greens and fruit. You need ‘good fats’ to keep your skin supple and glowing. Specifically eat from the ‘super foods’ list that can be found on the internet, such as broccoli and spinach. Your body will thank you for this and you will feel it!
