George Hamilton 'quits the jungle'

George Hamilton has followed in the footsteps of glamour model Katie Price and quit the I'm A Celebrity camp, it has been reported.

According to the Daily Mail, the Hollywood actor rolled up his sleeping bag for the last time today, amid concerns that he was not contributing enough to camp life.

George spoke to fellow contestant Kim Woodburn about leaving last night, after receiving an emotional phone call from his girlfriend Barbara.

He has been excluded from several bushtucker trials on health grounds and reportedly felt as though he was not helping the camp.

"I'm going to tell you what I'm thinking, they're people who are starting careers, I'm at a point where this is fun to do, I'm not going to go head to head, so I'm thinking about leaving, pulling out tomorrow," is quoted as telling Kim.

The remaining celebrities include ex-Hollyoaks actor Stuart Manning and singer Sabrina Washington.
