Fearne Cotton makes a statement in red jumpsuit

Fearne Cotton recently chose to make a fairly bold fashion statement, choosing to wear a bright red jump suit to an awards show.

Although the 28-year-old is well known for making slightly unusual decisions about what to wear, the radio presenter certainly did not want to blend in with the crowd at the South Bank Show Awards in her outfit.

At least Fearne, who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro last year to raise money for Comic Relief with her fellow Radio One presenter Chris Moyles, played it safe with her choice of footwear by sporting a pair of plain black satin heels with an ankle strap.

Considering the charitable star has her own fashion line alongside her friend and Dancing on Ice host Holly Willoughby, it could only be a matter of time before the rest of us are donning brightly coloured all-in-one outfits.

Perhaps next time she could play it safe with a fashionable frock, with the Daily Mail noting that prints are set to be a key trend for this summer.
