Emma Bunton to judge Dancing on Ice

Emma Bunton is set to appear in the new series of Dancing on Ice, but without the need to get her skates on.

The singer, formerly known as Baby Spice, is set to replace Ruthie Henshaw after the show's bosses were less than impressed by her boring comments in the last series, the Daily Mail has reported.

Even though Emma does not have any experience on the ice, she has done plenty of performing.

She came third when she appeared on the BBC's rival show Strictly Come Dancing back in 2006. And, who can forget all the amazing dance routines the 33-year-old had during her days as a Spice Girl?

Although the line-up for the new series is yet to be confirmed, it is thought that heartthrob Gary Lucy will be stepping on the ice, along with Boyzone singer Mikey Graham.

It is not the first time that a judge has been replaced on a show. Last series, Alesha Dixon took over on a chair on Strictly – and, a few weeks ago, Bruce Forsyth missed an edition of the Saturday evening programme after coming down with the flu.
