EastEnders' Lucy Beale 'attacked by hoodies'

Lucy Beale is set to continue having dramatic storylines if recent pictures from the set of the show are anything to go by.

The troubled teenager is attacked by hoodies as she walks home through a park at night, after having her ex-boyfriend Leon Small's baby aborted.

Screaming that she does not have any money to her two male attackers, Lucy, played by Melissa Suffield, is stunned when she realises that the aggressors are Leon and Billie Jackson.

Although the abortion was her idea, the news will be a shock to her stepmum Jane, who happily offered to raise the baby as her own child as she is unable to have her own children.

Soap fans are set to have an exciting time to look forward to in the coming months, with Coronation Street's Tony Gordon set to make a daring jail break and be rescued by an armed motorcyclist.
