Dr Hilary dances off the ice

Dr Hilary Jones was the latest celebrity to give their final performance on Dancing on Ice, after being voted out this weekend.

The TV doctor, who frequently appears on morning programme GMTV, was in the final two with Coronation Street actor Danny Young following the public vote, but was booted out by the judges.

Each week Dr Hilary was managed to escape the skate-off after receiving high numbers of votes from viewers who want to keep him on the show, despite the judges consistently giving him low scores.

This week judge Nicky Slater even likened his dancing to Todd Carty, the former EastEnders actor who appeared on the show last year and won popularity with the viewers despite his wooden performances on the ice.

Gary Lucy managed to give a performance good enough to make sure he stayed on for another week, despite the actor and his partner Maria Filippov missing out on rehearsals last week after falling ill with a tummy bug.
