Cheryl Cole 'wants to appear on Coronation Street'

Cheryl Cole could be taking a trip to Weatherfield if she manages to land her dream part in Coronation Street.

Soap fan Cheryl admitted that she would love to stroll down the famous cobbles or head into the Rovers Return for a drink, if she was offered the chance to.

Speaking to Bauer Radio Network, the Fight For This Love singer said that she was a big fan of the actress Michelle Keegan and enjoys the programme because it is full of northern things that she can relate to.

But if Hollywood beckoned for the Girls Aloud star she would jump at the chance to appear in Sex and the City and added that she has been described as a cross between romantic Charlotte and fashion savvy Carrie.

The stars of the upcoming film sequel have recently been out promoting the film, with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon all hitting the red carpet in amazing dresses and shoes in Las Vegas.
