Cheryl Cole 'to take Ashley back'

Cheryl Cole is reportedly letting husband Ashley return to their shared home after he completes his World Cup tour with England.

According to the People paper, sources close to the pair have confirmed there will not be a divorce and the Girls Aloud singer will be taking him back.

The news provider stated the Chelsea defender offered to purchase their £4 million marital home in Godalming, Surrey after being thrown out.

An unnamed friend was quoted as saying: "Cheryl was backed into a corner when Ashley suggested that he buy out the house and she realised that she needed to make a decision."

The anonymous source added that the X Factor judge has also failed to see a lawyer regarding a break-up since the split became public.

A number of women have claimed they have slept with the former Arsenal player since he wed Cheryl, with Aimee Walton telling the Sun in 2008 she had sex with him at one of his friend's flat in north London.
