Cheryl Cole 'home alone this Christmas'
 Cheryl Cole is set to spend Christmas morning home alone, as her husband Ashley has to go and train for a football match.
With his team Chelsea set to play on Boxing Day, Ashley and his team mates have to spend the first part of the day on the training pitch.
The Fight For This Love singer said: "He spends Christmas on the training ground. It's not very romantic. He opens his presents and then goes off to his training happy."
But, the X Factor judge was still looking forward to the day, as she has invited family members round to open their presents with her and her dogs.
Geordie Cheryl admitted she was looking forward to the break after working hard on the X Factor and her solo career.
Self-confessed soap fan Cheryl will have plenty to keep her entertained on Christmas Day, with the Daily Mail reporting that Archie Mitchell is due to be killed off in Eastenders and Sally Webster announcing she has breast cancer in Corrie.
