Cheryl Cole goes from X Factor to Jay-Z
Cheryl Cole looks set to get some extra help when she launches her solo career in America, as rap star Jay-Z has said he wants to make her a superstar.
The producer wants to help the Girls Aloud singer to crack the charts on the other side of the pond, according to the Sun.
It is thought that the 99 Problems rapper may have first become aware of the Geordie star when Alexandra Burke, who was mentored by Cheryl during X Factor, performed a duet with his wife Beyonce during the 2008 series finale.
This will not be the first time that Cheryl has received some help from US rappers. After appearing on Black Eyed Peas vocalist Will.I.Am's solo track Heartbreaker he returned the favour by joining her on the song 3 Words.
Last month Cheryl received even more praise from people in high places, the Daily Mail stated, with Prince Harry admitting to X Factor winner Joe McElderry that he fancied her.
