Charlotte Church to judge Over The Rainbow

Charlotte Church has been put forward as a judge for the new talent show Over The Rainbow.

It will be the first time Charlotte has had a judging role, although she has previously had her own chat show.

Following on from the success of shows like How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, where contestants battled for a role in a West End musical, this latest programme is looking for find a Dorothy for The Wizard of Oz.

It is thought that all the judges from past shows, including Denise Van Outen and John Barrowman, will be replaced to give the format a revamp.

Who knows what life-changing events could be in store of the judges when the series kicks off, as Denise met her husband Lee Meade when he was taking part in the show Any Dream Will Do to find an actor to play the role of Joseph.

Lee went on the win the show and the couple are expecting the birth of their daughter in May.

The pair said they have picked a traditional name for their new arrival, but for the time being call her Teapot.
