Britain's Got Talent auditions begin

Auditions for the new series of Britain's Got Talent have begun, with the latest round taking place in Manchester.

Performers from all over the north of England will be turning up to show Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan just what they are made of.

Held over three days, the trio of judges are set to witness hundreds of performers who are all desperate to clinch the title, just like dance troupe Diversity, who won the last series.

While Simon turned up for the first day of performances in his trademark dark T-shirt and jeans, and Piers wore a dark jacket, at least Amanda put in some effort choosing her clothes.

The actress looked gorgeous in a cream and black one-shouldered dress and matching high heels.

Hosts Ant and Dec are surely loving every second of being back on the show, especially after they picked up two gongs for their presenting skills at Wednesday night's National Television Awards.
