Billie Piper and David Tennant reunite in new film

Doctor Who fans may well be jumping for joy at the news that David Tennant and Billie Piper are to be reunited on screen again.

However, they will not be acting together in a new edition of the popular science-fiction programme but in a film directed by Billie's husband, according to the Daily Mail.

The popular pair, who played the eponymous doctor and Rose Tyler in the BBC show, will be starring in Love on the Murder Mile.

Laurence Fox will start shooting the film with his wife in the summer in the film set in London, which was described by the news provider as "an urban thriller".

Mackenzie Crook - who found fame appearing in The Office - and Matthew Rhys, who is currently starring in the American show Brothers & Sisters, complete the line-up of stars who are to appear.

Another film that is currently being made starring two big names is The Tourist, which features Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, with Angelina being frequently spotted filming in Venice and Paris wearing a variety of amazing outfits.
