Beth Ditto vs Katy Perry
More news from celebrity world and another showbiz battle has begun. This time its Beth Ditto (The Gossip) and Katy Perry (I Kissed a Girl) are the celebrity girls that are warring. It seems like not everyone is a fan of the song ‘I kissed a Girl’ or it’s singer, Beth Ditto has told Attitude magazine that she finds the music annoying and aimed at the male population. She also went on to say that it wasn’t a song for ‘dykes’ and that it was ‘hideous and tacky.’
Beth Ditto was not the only one who feels like complaining about the singer with drummer Hannah Billie revealing that she hates Katy Perry and that she is offensive to gay culture. Billie even suggested that she wanted to start a celebrity feud with her and that they call girls like Katy Perry ‘boner dykes.’ ‘Boner dykes’ according to Billie are straight girls who like to turn guys on by faking gay or making out.
Katy Perry has spoken out to the Gossip singer and said that she doesn’t want to start a slanging war and doesn’t want to say anything bad about Beth. Katy spoke out at the Glamour Awards and appeared unimpressed revealing that she had learnt that one artist should never insult another artists music.
Beth Ditto replied in an interview with Spinner and apparently couldn’t care less about Katy’s comments. As a gay person she feels like the impact of the song like Katy’s has had an impact on the gay world in a time of crucial civil rights and that Katy couldn’t care less about how a gay person really feels.
